Lawyer and government advisor Sok Siphana has made his law firm, Sok Siphana & Associates, a member of ZICOlaw, a leading regional law firm based in Kuala Lumpur and focused on the ASEAN region.
ZICOlaw, named for its origins as Zaid Ibrahim & Co, is an integrated network of independent legal and related professional service providers in the ASEAN region with offices in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Australia and Dubai.
“We regard it as of paramount importance that we continue to improve and seek out the skills and knowledge base of the firm and this requires significant investment on our part,” Sok Siphana said.
Sok Siphana & Associates was established in 1995, before he left legal practice to serve as the Secretary of State for the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce. In 2009, he resumed his practice and reconstituted his law firm.
“We focus on three specific areas: legal works in relation to the business and investment in Cambodia; international consulting practice, and trade-related technical assistance,” he said.
